To order oil, you may do so by calling the Alliance for Community Empowerment main building. Please inquire about the basic award benefit only between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm Monday through Friday. You may also email your order to EnergyOil@abcd.org. Be sure to have your client ID# handy to process the order. Any changes of address or phone number must be reported immediately. Our offices for these orders are closed on the weekends, holidays, and on days of inclement weather. If you order oil and do not receive it within 3 days, please call our energy office. Please be advised that crisis benefit deliveries must be authorized through the energy office. To receive the safety net benefit, you must be approved and authorized by the energy department at the Alliance for Community Empowerment main office.
Please be aware of a few important dates pertaining to delivery of oil:
November 1, 2021 – First day for delivery
May 2, 2022 – Last day for fuel authorization
June 15, 2022 – Last day to submit deliverable fuel bills for payment to energy office
May 31, 2022 – Last day for Energy Assistance
When you are expecting a fuel delivery to your residence, please plan using the guidelines outlined below. These reminders pertain to fuel clients of oil, propane, coal, wood, and kerosene.
To plan ahead, be sure to:
Mark oil fill for oil company
Have a clean path leading to the oil tank fill
Check oil gauge weekly (or have a friend or relative assist you if necessary)
Place order at the ¼ mark
Prepare for bad weather conditions by listening to your local radio stations. Listen to local radio station WICC (600 AM) for weather conditions and office closings.
