Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to those who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including:

  • People who earn $63,000 a year or less
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Limited English-speaking taxpayers

IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax preparation to those who qualify. Not only are the services free, but they are a trusted and reliable resource for filing tax returns. All VITA volunteers are required to take tax law training that meets and exceeds IRS standards. Tax preparers are well versed in the complexities of tax preparation and will ensure taxpayers receive all the tax credits they quality for.
